RESCUE project is the HRIF field office in Poland, to support Ukrainian refugees both in Ukraine, Poland and other neighbouring countries.
The RESCUE project has a team of very experienced workers, involved in humanitarian projects since early nineties. And have an extensive network in Eastern Europe.
RESCUE project will distribute humanitarian aid for HRIF and partner organizations.
Update May 2022
Ukraine
Borislav close to Lviv is our main hub for the time being, reaching numerous places. Both Kiev and Zitomir are receiving loads but in lesser time extend for time being and opened an hub in Tarnapol for distribution in Charkov region.
Poland
Lublin, both distribution to Ukraine and refugees in West Poland Glogow, distribution refugees in East Poland.
Moldova
Beltsy, distribution to Odessa region in Ukraine and refugees Kishinev distributions to refugees.
Romania
Satu Mare, distribution to Carpation Ukraine
Gherla, distribution to refugees
Hungary
Budapest distribution to West Ukraine and refugees
Last months HRIF send numerous loads to our partners. But we are slowly shifting to purchasing food and hygiene items locally.
Evacuation:
Over the 25 years HRIF built network in over 470 cities/communities, refugees are evacuated from many cities in Ukraine. All kind of transport means are being used to bring people to safety
Logistics:
HRIF Hubs in Poland, Moldova, Hungary and Romania receiving numerous loads with relief goods from The Netherlands, Germany, France, Switzerland and UK.
Logistic operation is managed by HRIF Amsterdam

RESCUE project is het veldkantoor in Polen om de vluchtelingen uit Oekraïne te helpen in Oekraïne, Polen en andere buurlanden.
Het RESCUE project heeft een team met zeer ervaren werkers die betrokken zijn in humanitaire hulp sinds de jaren 90. Zij hebben ook grote netwerken in Oost-Europa.
RESCUE project distribueert humanitaire hulpgoederen voor HRIF aan partner organisaties in Oekraïne en buurlanden.

Oekraïne
Borislav ligt dichtbij Lviv en is onze hoofddistributie punt, vanuit hier kunnen we verschillende plaatsen bereiken. Zowel Kiev en Zitomir ontvangen vrachten. Momenteel zijn we bezig met het openen van een distributiepunt in Tarnapol (Charkov regio).
Polen
Lublin, dit is een distributie punt voor zowel vluchtelingen in west Polen, Glogow en vluchtelingen in oost Polen, maar ook voor de distributie in Oekraïne zelf.
Moldovië
Beltsy, distributie naar Odessa in Oekraïne en vluchtelingen die verblijven in de Kishinev regio.
Roemenië
Gherla, distributie voor vluchtelingen die gevlucht zijn vanuit Oekraïne naar Roemenië.
Hungary
Budapest distributie naar West Oekraïne en vluchtelingen.
Vorige maand heeft HRIF verschillende vrachten gestuurd naar onze partners. We zijn nu langzaam bezig met het inkopen van voedsel en hygiene materiaal lokaal.
Evacuatie:
In meer dan 25 jaar heeft HRIF een netwerk gebouwd in meer dan 470 steden en gemeenschappen. vluchtelingen zijn geëvacueerd vanuit veel verschillende steden in Oekraïne. Er worden allerlei transportmiddelen ingezet om mensen in veiligheid te brengen.
Logistiek:
HRIF Hubs in Polen, Moldavië, Hongarije en Roemenië ontvangen talrijke vrachten met hulpgoederen uit Nederland, Duitsland, Frankrijk, Zwitserland en het VK.
De logistieke operatie wordt aangestuurd door HRIF Amsterdam (Weesp).
Financiering van voedsel voor zowel geld als gift in natura.
Vluchtelingen uit Oekraïne in Nederland:
In samenwerking met Stichting Clothing4u, Stichting Hope for Home en Netherlands for Ukraine delen wij in Nederland kledingpakketten uit voor vluchtelingen uit Oekraïne. Ondertussen hebben wij al ca. 500 mensen mogen helpen. Hiervoor is echter nog wel financiering nodig. Hiervoor kunt u een donatie overmaken aan Clothing4u: www.clothing4u.nu/doneer

RESCUE project will distribute humanitarian aid for HRIF and partner organizations.
– First step
Expanding present storage facilities
At this moment we have warehouse in Glogow with capacity of storing 2 loads.
We are looking for a larger facility on short notice in the region between Krakow and the Ukrainian border.
In the 1st week of March 2022 we have planned to load 3 trucks to leave from the Netherlands.
Another 2 trucks have been offered by volunteers. They cannot wait to load.
– Second step
Distribution of the aid in Poland trough partner organizations and local authorities. As soon as we are able to get into Ukraine again aid will go to hubs in Lvov, Zyhtomir and Kiev and many smaller projects will come to RESCUE HOUSE to take both goods and cash.
– Third step
Rent an accommodation for staff and volunteer workers from Poland and abroad, Lease and/or buy minivan/busses for transport of people and aid.
